I love playing this bass and this is what it is for. It is not a collector's item cos it wont retain a high resell value that with a Make in the US stamp on it does. Sadly, I see so many guitars or basses get purchased and then put away to resell later as a investment. Instruments are made to be played. The sound gets better the more we play them, not gathering dust in a corner. If this bass is stolen I will definitly buy another one. Anyway, I think I have said enough, got to get back to more playing. Happy jamming you all... ;o)

Playability:
I have only been playing bass for 10 months but have been a guitarist for over 15 years. I am loving the change over to bass although I still play guitar too, especially when recording. The action on this bass is perfect for me straight from the shop but then of course, I had a play on all the basses I was considering at the time of purchase to find the one that suited me the most. Although, it will still require a set up as the low B buzzes a bit when played hard due to the low action. This is the first bass I have played with a modern style C-shape neck. I must say I appreciate the change since I have relatively small hands, it makes a big difference for my playing. The satin finish on the neck and the pau ferro fret board make a nice playing field, too, very smooth and quick if you want to.
Durability:
I dont know yet as I have only had this bass for 2 weeks now. But the finish on this bass is beautiful, solid, heavy and inspires confidence in its build quality and playability. I hear the US versions have better build qualities but for the money, this is an orsm bass. Check it out if you are considering a good giging bass with a good all around tones.

Would I buy this bass again if it were lost or stolen? Definetly, or maybe I'd try stingray, then I'll get a clear idea of which one is better.. How could this bass be better? Some more frets would be fine ;)

Playability:
Very easy to play, all technics can be applied, pluck, pop, thumb, tap, fingered vs vs..
Sound Quality:
Sound can vary up to your setting, can be soft and low, and can be live and burning :) the knobs change the whole attitude of your sound.. Obviously you can get the standart classic fender sound. it seem noticeably better for the stage and studio then other basses I played.. But however, the sound of fingered style and slap style are too different, I mean the sound level, well maybe it's just me, my slap touch is a little harder then fingered touch :)
Durability:
It's a bit heavy so that you can bear it for a few hours, not more for your health :) I adjusted it a year ago, still in shape :) strap locks are standart screws.. same all same..
