I looked at some Hartke aluminum cone cabs, but i dont like that sound. Also looked at some 4x10/1x15 setups but the 8x10 sounds much better. If it were lost or stolen id replace it with an Ashdown 810, but if the Ashdown wasnt available id deffinetly be back to the Hartke.

Its a cab, theres no knobs. Right now I run a Behringer Bx3000T through this and it sounds great, nice and punchy just like it should be.
I play a Dean Razor Phantom and an Ibanez SRX505 through this and they both sound great (it doesnt like the ibanez at higher volumes though, only because the bass humbuckers (this could be because of the amp and not the cab though)). I play alot of heavy metal with swedish metal influences and this cab is great for my style. It sounds great for any style of playing. I actually picked this over the Ampeg 810 not just because of the price but it sounded more rounded then the Ampeg. It gets alittle noisy at higher volumes (much higher than would actually be needed, even for a larger gig)
Just plug it into a head and your ready.
Its deffinetly reliable enough to handle many gigs. Not much fun having to haul it around though (your back will hate you for buying something like this).
