Schecter Diamond Series C-4 XXX

Electric Fretted 4-String Bass

Made by Schecter

Description It's basically the same a regular C-4 but it has a high gloss black finish with white trim along the edges of the body and neck. The fret markers are pearl inlays shaped like the silohette of a naked woman(how cool is that!).

The bass is has limited quantities, as they were made especially for Guitar Center for being a vendor.
Model Year: 2005
Price: $330.00 (new)
Where Obtained: Online Music store in my homestate.
Features:
Made in Korea I believe Mine is the XXX model which is black with white binding on the body and neck, and with stripper inlays in MOP. CONSTRUCTION/SCALE: Bolt-on / 34" BODY: Mahogany w/ Figured Maple NECK/FINGERBOARD: Multi-Laminate Maple & Walnut / Rosewood FRETS: 24 Jumbo INLAYS: Vector PICKUPS: EMG HZ ELECTRONICS: 2 Vol w/ EMG Active 2-Band EQ BRIDGE: S-Tek BINDING: None TUNERS: Grover
Playability:
Plays awesome, even has a nice slap tone, but the string spacing is tight. The neck feels great, and the bass is well balanced, and comfortable to play.
Sound Quality:
It sounds great, The EMG pickups are Brite, but have an excellent tone when you crank the low end.
Durability:
Looks tough. I got mine for cheap because it had a blemish on the headstock. They sell for $499 at GuitarCenter, I paid $330.

I would definatly buy this bass again if something happened to it, trouble is I haven't seen it anywhere, I know of one other website that had a review for it and thats it, its not even pictured on Schecter's website, just the standard C-4/5 are. I mean I guess its a rare model or something because i really had trouble finding info on it.

Sound is excellent, you can get just about any tone you want with the active electronics. I play rock,hip-hop,funk and can get all the different sounds I need out of it.

Its REALLY heavy. Once i set it up the way i like it it hasn't needed to be adjusted since, but its still fairly new so we'll see.
