Overall, I've heard other portable devices that sounded fine when using a Bass. This one does not, it is heavily distorted from the lowest volumn to the highest.
If you can get it for under $30 it wouldn't be bad, but its not worth the $50 the website wants to charge.

It plugs right into your guitar or bass. It has a on/off button, and a volumn knob. It uses 1 AAA battery(included), also has a set of headphones included.
Sound Quality:
I used my Warwick 5 string, and it sounded like I might as well have had a cheap Walmart GUITAR in it. Definitely not made for Basses.
Its great for having a nice practice anywhere, but you have to get use to your bass sounding heavily distorted.
Very Easy, just plug it in, put your headphones in your ear, and Jam!
It's all plastic so It looks about average.
