Description AWESOME - LIFE CHANGING book about applying the philosophy and discipline of zen to learning to play guitar (or bass, for that matter). Not "how to play guitar", but how to LEARN how to play guitar.

This book is an absolute MUST READ for any musician, as it experiences a way of life through musical practice, from a Zen philosophy point of view. No religion here, no proselytism, just a point of view which helped me opening eyes, and made me a better person and musician too. This book will not teach you any technic, notes, or other musical features, but propose a state of mind in order to play music (and live) better. This book makes you think about why you are playing music, not how.
Suitable for all skill levels of bassists

This book is all about the approach to playing guitar, the discipline of practice, the mindset of a black-belt. It has made me a much better PERSON, as well as player. Zen Guitar has changed my life for the better, and has impacted my bass playing ability as a result. This book is for anyone who really - I mean really - wants to get to the heart of the music that is deep within each of us, and allow that sound to flow through their instrument. Peace through Zen Guitar.
