I purchased these pickups to replace the stock pickups in my '93 Mexi Jazz Bass
I use this through an Ampeg B2 Combo(15") and 2x10 ext cab. I play Funk/Fusion, Rock, Jazz and R&B. These pickups are super punchy especially when compared to the original pickups I had in the bass when I bought it.
These are the pickups used the the Custom Shop basses Fender produces.

Single coil alinco magnets overwound passive pickups
I put these in my old squier jazz i play out of a old
old hartke b90 sounds great fingerd or picked full growly
punchy sound there 100%better then the stock pickups
which i would expect for 160dolla
