Great cab, great sound, awesome overall.
Model Year: 2002
Price: $270.00 (new)
Where Obtained: Sam Ash Music
Features:
Good cab, ported design, handles 300W at 8 ohms. 15 inch speaker is big and fast, and the tweeter works great with the higher freqs. Not too heavy, and can be moved by one person in a pinch, what's nice is on the back there is an input jack and an extension cab out jack which allows you to add a cab in parallel with this one. Does not have a tweeter volume control knob, which may be good or bad, depending on what you like.
Sound Quality:
Handles high power very well, I usually play it with a 200W amp but have used a 450W on it. It sounds good all around, sometimes however, the tweeter will amplify interference from your bass, ie, if you're using single coil pickups under flourescent lights, it will buzz - I've only had this problem once though. Actually can be used alone, as it does have a wide range of sounds thanks to the horn. The metal grille has never gotten loose or vibrated, and it's made of real wood, not particle board.
Ease of Use:
Well, just make sure you plug into the 'in' not the extension cab jack.
Durability:
Strong plastic stacking corners, thick carpeting, heavy wiring. I've used it at plaenty of gigs and it still looks good. O, it's been dropped too and everything is still good.

If this amp got stolen which i wish it did but it never did. I sold this to another store and i feel sorry already for the person who will be buying this from them. Save your money and buy anything else but this one.
Model Year: 2005
Price: $500.00 AUD (new)
Where Obtained: Allans Music
Features:
Features a 15" Speaker and a horn. 2 Input sockets allowing wiring up in series.
Sound Quality:
Crap, cannot handle the lows properly , lacks definition , punch. If i ran my amp volume over 4 this speaker started farting. Ive heard earphones sound better than this.
Ease of Use:
No horn level control thus not providing any scope for adjusting the horn output.
Durability:
Cheap Plywood and a grill whose screws went loose and started vibrating within the first 2 months. Probabrly one of the heaviest 15" speaker boxes around too.

Very good sound, the right price, sharp look, 300 Watt headroom, fiber-cone gives a warm punch. I would replace it in a heartbeat. When used in conjuction with the 2.5XL it rounds out the frequency bandwidth.
Model Year: 2004
Price: $239.00 (new)
Where Obtained: Alto Music, Wappingers Falls, NY
Features:
Rugged unit with great sound.
Sound Quality:
Currently using as a stack with Hartke 2.5XL, HA2000. Great mix of frequency ranges depending on the string attack. Bass: Rickenbacker 4003 Effects: none (I get all the mix I need from the total system).
Ease of Use:
Equal to or better than other cabinets.
Durability:
Use and abuse test in process 2 months old.

Hartke really delivered with a 1x15 for the poor people like me. I really wanted to get something cheap, but still feel superior by having a big amp, and this was a most excellent solution.
Model Year: 2003
Price: $240.00 (new)
Where Obtained: House of Guitars
Features:
Well...its a 1x15 cab. 300watts handling capacity...input, and extention cab output. Not much else to say
Sound Quality:
It sounds pretty damn good for being so cheap. I really wanted some cheap cabs that sounded decent, and Hartke really helped me out. I play rock and funk mostly, and both work fine. Think it could work well for anything. I have heard better of course, but for the price you really can't go wrong.
Ease of Use:
Its a cab! Nothing to say...plug a head into it, and you're good to go.
Durability:
Not really sure about this. Never droped it or anything. Fairly nice casters, and it seems fairly durable.

Very happy. Great sound, looks good when used as the full stack and is knocked out at a bargin price. What more do you want.
Model Year: 2004
Price: $225.00 Pounds (new)
Where Obtained: MM Music - Southampton
Features:
Heavy-duty plywood construction One 15 in. proprietary driver One horn loaded high frequency transducer Power Handling: 300 Watts @ 8 Ohms Ergonomic handles Parallel 1/4 in. Inputs it was only 225..ok I won't start this again.
Sound Quality:
Very pleased. I am running a Hartke HA3500 head with a VX4x10 cab so this makes up the full stack. I love it. I have been using Hartke for a couple of years now and I really like the sounds. I have used Peavey, Orange, SWR, TE and I still prefer the Hartke setup. Nice low end punch when using it with the 4x10 or even when you use it on its own.
Ease of Use:
It's a cab, how hard can't it be ??...the wire goes where ?..
Durability:
Only 1 week old so unfair to comment really wouldn't you say. Cos of the price i am gonna rate it at 5 anyway.
