BD2 has a smooth overdrive, not that grungy, dirty, jungle rot kind of ditstortion. It's sonically even through the registers, and is sensitive to your volume settings (no blown speakers!). I'm running it through a GK 700RB/210; lots of character.
Again, wysiwyg -- very easy.
Built strong, but have not put it to the test as of yet.
