The shape filter is fantastic, I have never had such a clean and crisp sound from any type of head even when riding on the low b. No humm at high volumes and the Ultabass harmonics fill in the full range from low to high during a solo. The foot pedal allows me to turn on and off the shape filter and ultrabass, fun to play with. The five band eq kicks ass, with the bright functions it powers up my passive guitars. DI input, perfct for pluging into a house p.a.
Like I said before. The sound is awesome!!! I play rock n roll, heavy metal, regae, funk. This head powers a Hartke VX215, and also a VX410, I play an active Ibanez GRS205. The VU meter really helps to get max performance at little power. And believe me, plenty of head room at the bottom end. Crisp and clean, no noise. I've owned peavy, acoustics, and sunn. Which have all had noise. Not with this powerhouse.
Plug it in and play...nice and easy as that. Experiment with the shape function and the ultrabass, and find your groove.
I've had this head for about 9 months, no complaints. kicks a-- every night.
The footswitch is very handy (or is "footy"?), the Ultrabass-mode however is just a "gimmick" though, not to be used for anything and hence completely obsolete in my opinion.
Very good amp worth its money and more than one can expect from a cheap amp. Highly recommendable for any occasion!

I was looking for a cheap amp for use in my musicroom at home and did quite some comparative research. First I was thinking of purchasing a Behringer combo but since I have a 15inch cabinet in the room, an amp was all I needed AND I was thinking of using the Behringer BX3000T as a spare amp for gigs as well. Very good price and the sepcs are awesome!
The Ultrabass-mode on this mode is completely unnecesary for my needs, I won't use it ever, the Shape-mode however is very useful indeed, this am has quite some tonal alternatives. I would have liked the deep and bright switches on the footswitch as well instead of that ultrabass push button. I've compared the sound in the musicshop with a Hartke and SWR Workingman's amp, all amps of practically the same wattage and the Behringer was simply the best (with "head" and shoulders).
The tone is great and powerfull!
This amp is easy to tweak, the tonal modalities are displayed very logical and once I heard "my" sound coming true it is easy to sketch the knob-positions in the accompanying manual. The VU-meter looks nice and I was amazed by the weight of the amp too. Interesting item is the D.I.-out on the frontpanel!
Built like a solid (state) piece of equipment. It's loud enough to produce a pressured deep sound during rehearsals and I'm thinking of using this amp on small gigs as well.
Can't go wrong quality and price. If your going to purchase a 30 watt Head check this one out and compare them to the rest. With Avatar Cabs it is affordable and unbeatable!

Ultrabass subharmonic processor really rattles the Lows and the Shape filter gets all the tone combos you need along with a deep and bright function with a 5 band EQ. A footswitchable ultrabass and shaper is a joy.
I am using this Head with two Avatar cabs a 2X12 with adj. tweeter and a 2x10 with adj.tweeter. I use a 62' Fender P bass and an active Ibenez SD300. Playing Rock and Blues. Also for worship at church. Wide range of tone and sound. It has the power and sound of the Acoustic amps of the 70's. Just a lot of fun to play with.
Simple to use. Wide range with effects and EQ. I own to Ampegs a B2 and BA115. The Behringer is the best for multiple tone and sound. The footswitch is the best for any changes midsong.
