I use these on a Japanese '94 Standard P-Bass. I play a lot of different styles from metal to funk to punk to soft emo. These strings sound great for all of these purposes.
I found that these strings last an adequate amount of time. They don't wear out fast at all...but they don't last forever either. I'd say they're pretty average here.
