If I were to lose this amp I will but it again for two reasons:
1) Best value for money
2) So far I managed to get the best sound through this amp
I had a Laney R2 series, which I was really disappointed. It costed more than twice of the behringer and the sound was poor (either too trebly or too muddy) and it had it's board to be resoldered twice so far.
The Behringer BX3000T is aesthetically pretty good looking, bearing that vintage styled DU meter which glows as well.

Solid state head, with a vintage styled front knobs and DU meter. Has D.I. to connect to a mixing console, a Line Out to connect to an external Power Amp for a master/slave configuration, effects loop (send + return) and Active/Passive inputs. Has also an input to connect an external footswitch.
It also have have the following added functions (enabled by seperate small switches on the front): Ultrabass, Deep, Bright, Shape.
Having 300W at 4ohms, I found it suitable for all types of situations, from garage rehearsals, to live situations.
I use a Musicman Stingray connected to a Behringer V-amp pedal (stomp-box). I get a very defined growl endorsed in a warm sound. I managed to get a good sound for playing pizzicato and slap bass - Yet when I play pizzicato I don't sound trebly, whilst when I play slap I don't sound muddy, keeping the same EQ from both bass, pedal, and this amp.
I can also get a decent overdrive effect through my setup.
I'm really happy with the sound. Don't let the price trick you, because I have tried other expensive heads which don't begin with this sound.
The amp is very easy to use. I flattened out the EQ (all knobs in the centre), and connect the bass to the active input.
It has a shape knob which I don't fiddle much about it (I keep it in the centre position). It contours the EQ'd sound. However, since the sound is already nice I didn't find a valid reason why i should fiddle with it :)
Quite a plug and play an amp.
Looks tough and rugged. I don't want to drop it to rate it's durability but physically looks pretty heavyduty.
It also has a fan which ensures that it won't get overheated.
What a great head, and for only 200 you get alot of stuff. Tone shaping, a footswitch, the works. There's a million inputs/outputs on the thing so you can definitely do whatever you want with it.

Magic in a 9 million pound rectangle!
Buying this negated the need for me buying like 3 pedals. It's a great head, and for only 200 it's definitely worth it. There's alot you can do with this. It's not just for the low end anymore.
Just twist and pluck (your bass). It's the same learning curve of any other piece of equipment with knobs. You have to play with it to find the sweet spot you want. One thing makes this different- you'll definitely find one.
If the weight is indicative of durability, then you can use it as a catapult projectile and it would still work. It weighs about as much as my guitar player's Marshall half stack.
