This is a very good compilation from the trio's earlier work. None of the more freeform and avantgarde here but serious groove and a good variety of kickin' funky modern jazz styles... Chris Wood rocking on his upright and electric basses (have you ever heard a funky Hofner "Beatles bass" before?!)... a must have for every bassist!

This is a greatest hits of their 1991 to 1996 era. you gotta check it out.chris woord wonderful upright work is really one of a kind. i especially loved the first two tracks.bubble house (the second one ) has a weird raise in the tempo really gradually that you'd say how acurate are these guys? are they really machines? just check it out if you're interested in funky jazz stuff
