Although there are some good things about these strings I do not think I would buy them again. They just do not feel right when I play them.
Price: $22.00 (new)
Where Obtained: Rhapsody Music
Features:
Flatwounds that have a unique feel and look to them. They are coated with nylon, and are a bit rougher on the fingers. Personally I prefer traditional flats.
Sound Quality:
I use these on an Ibanez TR50 Fretless just for practice. It's sound is very bright on my Peavey TNT 130 and they do produce a good sound, unfortunately they do tend to be on the quieter side.
Durability:
The never seem to go out of tune. I rarely have tune my Ibanez and months after I put them on my bass they still sound like the day I first bought them.
