I just discovered this album recently after being too young to appriciate it the first time around. Now I know what all the fuss was about. Its an excellent album especially for its time. Go go John Paul Jones!!!

Yep - it IS a classic, w/o a doubt! "Dazed And Confused" puts the bass in your face! If you want to learn rock bass, this is a great place to start.

This is where the legend started. You just cant find enough words to describe this masterpiece. Great guitar - work, heavy driving bass-lines and drums that blow everything away. Above all theres the voice of Robert Plant thats simple THE BEST white blues voice that ever was ever is and ever will be!! A must have foir every rock / metal fan.

It came out in 1969. I first heard it in about 76. It changed the way I thought about rock music. I wanted to learn every song on the lp. The guitar was awsome, but it was the bass lines that blew me away. What can you say about JPJ not only is he one of the top bassists of all time but also a great allround musican. My fav song on the lp is track 2 "Babe I'm gonna leave you." The first song I learned to play.
