I think this is a great buy even for the price being up a bit, in my opinion it doesnt get much better than a martin.
Model Year: 2002
Price: $1107.00 (new)
Where Obtained: local retailer
Features:
Bass features all solid wood mahogany, jumbo with cutaway, 22 fret neck, rosewood neck, rosewood headstock cap, mahogany neck, fisman prefix plus pre-amp and pickup system, doesnt have binding, doesnt make to much of a difference, tortisse shell pic guard, enclosed gear tuners, comes with case.
Playability:
Plays very well, has great tone, action is set good, sounds and plays much better than other acoustic basses ive played.
Sound Quality:
Has great martin tone, has great deeps but also allows bright highs, i use for bluegrass, blues and other playing with my friends, usually need amplifier as is in most ABGS.
Durability:
Seems very durable seeing as it is acoustic, the bridge pins seem good and sturdy, can be used for a small amout of slapping, but popping you should be careful.
