Overall Rating:
I bought this because it looked different without being too far "out there," because it's comparatively light, and probably also because Geddy had a Steinberger (it's hard to remember back that far)! One of the best instrument purchases (bang-for-the -buck-wise) that I've ever made!
Price: $300.00 (new)
Where Obtained: Casio Music
Features:
2 full octaves on a through-body-neck, active electronics, Steinberger tuners, two pickups, black finish.
Playability:
Very playable for a copy bass - I have NEVER had to adjust the neck - and it's been through alot!
Sound Quality:
While the sound quality is not up to "bass gourmet" standards, it has a pretty darn good "meat & potatoes" sound.
Durability:
This thing has been knocked over time and time again, and the only scar is a small area of chipped paint on one of the back corners (and some fret wear). Very, VERY durable!
