11 wonderful songs with very good lyrics, all songs have a high "intimacy" factor wether the song is uptempo or rather slow.
The second song "In my Place" remembers me of similar songs from the sixties.
I've always been a fan of these guys, personally i think their past album was better, but this one is great too, if you want to hear a soft alternative album, then this is for you, i especially loved the sone scientist

I like the voice and the guitarwork, drums and bass are rather submitted to this in a very functional way. The singer plays piano from time to time, mostly in the ballads. The uptempo songs are more guitar orientated. Most of the songs remind me to earlier bands, the result however is genuine and I think Coldplay can become a very great band.
