I'm not really in the market of looking for Bass Effects, because you can only do so much... The reason I got the NE-1 is because: GOOD Price (24.99), can't beat that, MATCHES my Bass (Nathan East Signature), Good reviews and now I know why... Rumors say that Nathan never played without it (he calls it his Magic Box). And also, I have heard that it sound well on electic guitars too.

I play all types of music and the NE-1 conforms to every style. What makes the NE-1 more sweeter is that I play it with my BBEast. They are like twin. Nathan East all the way. My BBEast, is already quiet, but the NE-1 makes it DEAD-QUIET! The sound is absolutely flawless. Much rounder and deeper. Especially, if you follow Nathan East's DEEP recipe. You can also custom tone it to your desired frequency.
You dont need to be a rocket scientist or a brain surgeon to run this EQ. It has 3 knobs.
Looks pretty durable to me. Solid chrome box. I have read numerous reviews on the NE-1 and 90% rate 10. I would too, but our ratings only up to 5.
