Powell came into Parkers universe whit his own bop mood. Themes like "Confirmation" or "Ornithology" full of influences of other boppers like Wardell Gray, Sonny Sitt, Dizzy, etc... and a litlle tribute to Telonius in two numbers. The remaster give us an oportunity to enjoy Duviviers bass lines.
