(2002) Reprise

Personnel Disturbed is a mixture of dark/heavy and soft and sweet. David has a very emotional voice and Dan's guitar riffs give a great dynamic to them...

Description These guys are very..."spiritually aware". And if you feel at all dead, this album will wake you up in every way--physically, mentally and emotionally. This album is deep and dark and beautiful all at the same time and is not for the faint of heart...

This is the only Disturbed album that I own, and I was glad that I bought it. This is an excellent nu-wave metal album with powerful guitar work and catchy riffs and vocals. The bass isn't outstanding but a vital part of the downtuned riffing. Open with the single Prayer, the album continues in style with great songs such as Liberate and Bound. One of the better modern metal albums to come out of the US

As good if not better that their debut "Down with the sickness." It could not have been any better. Absoutetly what hard rock needed.....thanks guys for giving us the shot in the arm we needed. Favorite aspect is (OBVIOUSLY) is David's un believable lyrical ability, not necessarily the words..though thay are incredible...but the way he delivers them...fresh clear with perfect enunciation. Get it you'll love it!!

There is no way this album could be better! Every song is different and all are great! It is very obvious after comparing this album with the sickness album how much they have matured as musicians. They are technically great and have a wonderful balance with each other. In this album they speak their minds very loudly! What else can I say? Check it out for yourself! If you like Alice In Chains, Tool, Black Sabbath or any of those dark but uplifting bands, you will LOVE this album!!!
