Well, this was my first bass so I have a soft spot for it. Its the standard that I compare all other basses to for me. Its very playable and I keep finding myself going back to it time and time again. I wish the finish was holding up better. I think the finish reacted with the plastic of a guitar stand I have turning it yellow. Also, Its a heavy instrument and wears on your back during a long gig. All in all, I love playing this bass and will probably have it forever!

American Made 4 string, long scale bass. Has 2 passive pickups, 4 knobs (2 volume, 2 tone) and selector switch. Rosewood neck. It has a white finish that is yellowing with age. Its a pretty heavy guitar compared to others I have played. Its the Ric that doesn't look like a Ric with short horns and missing the interestingly shaped headstock.
I've only had to adjust it once and the action has held for a number of years. I like the pickup placement for playability.
Has a bright, sharp sound. Good definition for more active bass lines. I prefer a more thunky sound so I tend to leave the strings on longer than I should. Always play clean through an ESR2000 amp. Sounds good playing classic rock tunes on stage. Haven't done any studio work with it.
Very reliable instument that hold pitch very well. I have only made one truss-rod adjustment in 5 years. The strap pegs could be bigger as they sometimes let go of the strap. I tend to keep a good grip on the bass at all times because of this. All the controls are holding up great.
