I've found this site has been a great help to me. It's one thing to know what you're playing, but even better to know WHY you are playing it. It's a must see for every musician in need of help!

While I've marked this as suitable for ALL LEVELS, it is primarily suited to both beginners and intermediate musicians. The content is factual and concise, as well as easily understandable. Site navigation is well organized with drop-down selection boxes, making getting answers fast and user friendly. Worth a good read.

Ricci has done an excellent job in providing lectures on music theory compete with slides and diagrams. The lectures are complete and accurate and very clearly illustrated. I recommend this very highly.

This is a very easy to use resource. There are downloadable trainers for notes, intervals, keys, etc. Also included is a staff paper generator and chord calculator. The lessons are very easy to understand and move along in a step-by-step fashion. This is a great site for anyone just learning or just needing to freshen up on their theory.
