If lost or stolen i would consider buying another of these basses to replace it. if only it had a nice active pickup then it woudl probably be a much nicer bass

Have had this bass for about 10 years now and has held up great. I have never had to do any adjustments to it at all.

My baby. what more can I say? I'm holding a $1400 warwick corvette standard 5 string, and I'm wishing I had my $420 yamaha 4 string here! If anything were to ever happen to my baby, I'd trade in my $1500 amp to replace it if I had to.
Price: $420.00 Can. (new)
Where Obtained: Music Store
Features:
Very basic. One P-bass pick-up, one volume, one tone. On the other hand, it's got 24 frets (kind of)
Playability:
I see people complaining about the playablity, but it's gotta be the MOST playable thing I've ever touched (once you get used to fretless) Nice thin neck, all the way up.
Sound Quality:
I've been playing through a yorkville combo, but now I play it through a Yorkville head and Hartke cab. Through the combo I couldn't have asked for a better sound. Now through my stack, it sounds even better, although I'm still getting used to the amp. I may eventually throw some Seymour Duncan pick-ups or something in it though. Killer Studio bass, but fretless isn't so pretty on stage.
Durability:
It sits in the cold for days at a time, then gets heated up when I'm playing it. Still, while my guitarists tune, I sit back with a beer. Never needs tuning, never needs adjusting (and I LOVE adjusting!!!!). I've had the thing for like 5 years and it still looks brand new.
