What else can i say!?
This is my Custom Shop bass. My Dream bass! I've always wanted this sound, design and feel. I really, really love him! I wouldn't trade him for $10.000.00 !!
I think this bass couldn't be better!
Model Year: 2002
This is an American Jazz Bass wich later was sent to a luthier in order to completely modify him.
It has a mahogany neck and maple body. It has 21 frets and it is a 4-string bass.
It has 6 controls: for the neck pickup volume/treble; and for the bridge pickup volume/bass/midrange/treble and it also has a slap switch control that boost the frequency in order to have better slaping sound.
The pickup configuration is a standard Jazz Bass (passive) pickup on the neck and a Seymour Duncan Basslines MusicMan (active) pickup on the bridge + the 3band preamp.
Both body and neck are just like the original Jazz Bass, and the body has a 3-tone sunburst colour (repainted).
The bridge is a BadAss II.
The playability is excelent, since I alwats wanted to have a neck that feels like the original Jazz Bass. It has no flaws at all!
This is the most confortable bass I've ever played. Anyway, i though hard about how it should be. It's just perfect.
Sound quality... well, perfect!!
It has the standard Fender sound since i have the Jazz Bass pickup on the neck, but it also have the MusicMan Stingray / Modulus Flea sound! With the preamp i can play whatever i want with this bass, it's very easy for me to dial my sound!
This is perfect, and i've never seen such a good sounding bass!
Well, 80% of the bass construction is a pure Fender, so it's like a tank! I think this bass will fit me for the next 100 years!
