The wide neoprene pad is the feature that really makes this investment worth it. My back was killing me, even using other wide and/or padded straps...but the instant I put the Fender Strap on my bass and slipped it over my shoulders, I could tell the difference...

Fender is known the world over as being a reliable world class manufacturer. The tough leather ends look like they'll last a life time on my strap knobs. I have no doubt that the strap will hold up in a live situation.
