This instrument lacks of tonal variety
some extra controls for the Split coil wouldn't
be bad at all.
It's neck is its power ( and Demon )
Although it is heavy it doesn't seem to be affected by
anything
I've even used a B-E-A-D tuning with a V string set
without seting the bass up for such tension
and the neck didn't seem to care about it.
I'm definitely going to take it to a Luthier friend
to mount an active EQ cirquitry.

When I bought this Bass I was 15 years old
and didn't have in mind that this bass was
made for somebody spesiffic
The neck is too wide for a 4 string and the overall
feeling is....stiff
Billy Sheehan's fingers are probably twice the length
my fingers are but that helped me through the 3 years
I played on it cause when I bought my current bass
( a v - string )I found it way too easy to adapt.
Flaws : Due to the quality and density of the neck
it off balances to the left ( fretting finger )
causing to play and support at the same time
Major Flaw at my oppinion
Slapping is out of the question
The humbucker is literaly stuck to the neck
And the overall weight is too much for a 4 string
giving a strange feeling on the back after a 3 hour
session.
The bass Behaves verry good in Recording sessions
due to its duals ouputs and passive controls
with almost no noise.
I have used it several times straight into the console
( Seperate channel for each pickup ) and produced some
really interesting results.
It doesn't have a wide sound spectrum due to the lack
of some EQ on the Split pickup but the sound
is clean and when using the humbucker you get a
really warm hum verry pleasant to the ear.
Well when it comes to durability
this bass is what its all for.
The neck seems to not give a Damn about
changes in temperature
Due to the wood's density but that as forementioned
makes it neck heavy
Its Hardware quality is verry good and the
D-Tuner seems to be staying in tune for a long time
after adjusting it.
Personally I get it set up Twice a year.
