The only thing to complain about on this bass is the low B if it were a little tighter that would be nice.
Price: $500.00 CND
This bass has 21 frets,It has active eletronics, it has two soap bar pickups plus a three band EQ, it has bass, mid, treble knobs plus volume and pickup selector. it is a five string and has string-thru body and has a bolt on neck.
When I got this bass the action was low and I dont get alot of fret buzz. The low B is kind of loose.
I have a littel marshall 25 watt amp and when playing the the active electronics are usless. but I played through a peavey 115 and a peavy micro bass stack and the active electroic worked well. I think this bass can be used for pretty much any style of music.
I looked at almost every bass in it's price range and beyond, but found that the Fury 5 had the best sound for the price. You would have to spend twice as much money to get another brand of bass of this quality.

The Fury 5 comes with active electronics, and two fat soapbar pickups. Tone controls include Bass Cut/Boost, Mid Cut/Boost and Treble Cut/Boost as well as volume and pickup controls. The body is flamed maple, with a blonde and black sunburst paint job. Strings are fed through the body.
Its a very friendly bass. The neck is comfortable, and I have found that I could obtain better sound with lighter guage strings.
I play the Fury 5 through two different amps, a Fender Bassman 60, and/or a Peavey 210 combo. This bass packs a warm, full sound, and is easily adjusted with the controls. I play rock/jazz/funk and have found the Fury 5 to handly my playing with ease.
I have only owned my Fury 5 for a couple of months, and it seems to be holding up well. I have played some nasty gigs, and the finish has come through without a scratch (knock on wood).
