Overall, gloomy trashy stuff, that kinda thing you can listen to when feeling pretty average to pretty depressed. Highlight song "pepper", the bands mainstream radio breakthrough song, lofi sound with dirty vocals rapping over the top for the verses, preceding the all round memorable and pretty chorus. No real clean sounds on this record, though there are some strings on "cough syrup" that really sound out of place, and there is a song that sounds like the sort of thing played in a french porno ("let's talk about cars"). college music for college people, no outstanding bass playing, though it does the job. Humourous in places, not a record that'll be endorsed by the hoodie wearing "massive" but for the lucky few that appreciate such stuff, this record will be greatly appreciated, and I love it.
