Beautiful neck-thru design, fat a-- emg-pjs and contoured body what the f%$# else do you need?!!

Any action attainable. played alot of other basses (fender, cort , samick, music man etc.) but none come close to its smooth playability. Only complaint is the width of the neck; if you have big hands might want to pick up the 5 string

I'm running through an ampeg with a cheap distortion pedal adding the effect. I play hardcore and metal and for that it works excellent (probably why rex from pantera uses the 5 string spector) but, it is certinly a bass of diverse interest and use. The clean poppiness of its tone work excellent for funk and jazz also.
