At the point of my development as a bass player when i first bought this amp, it provided me with value way beyond my expectations. I still use this amp today as I probaly will for years to come.
If i can make one improvement on this amp? i would have bought the pulse 600 for more power compared to the 360 watts i get right now. But i'm a perfectionist, you'll be happy with the Pulse 360.

The bass comes with an awesome tube pre-amp with a 3 band eq for a great preamp tone. If that's not enoght you can shape the sound with a 5 band rotary eq with variable frequencies on each band.
It also comes with an on board compression system, very accurate and it doesn't sound like the bass tones are being comprimised or squished.
On top of all that, you can get a remote pedal to activate the effect loop, eq, compression, and solo switch for those boosts you might need when the moment is right.
It's Mesa, what else can I say? the tone is perfect. No matter what bass you put through it, you can shape the perfect tone. I use a Warwick Proline 4 string and it cleans up the bass tones magnificently.
I am using it to power a david eden 2x10 cab and a 1X15 cab for david eden as well. The combination brings the utmost clarity, even at high pressure levels.
It takes a few hours of tinkering around to find the sound that you want. Everything is labeled clearly and straight forward. I highly suggest this amp for it's value. It'll last forever.
Like I said, this will last forever. If you buy one, I suggest you rack mount it into a case right off. Although it can handle it's share of bumps, its such a nice piece of equipment, i'd hate to let it get damaged.
