I have owned over 30 basses in my past and this one is the finest piece of work I have ever heard or played. When my friend bought it, I told him, "if you EVER sell that bass, I want it." And I got it. His loss, my gain. He decided to only play fretless. The only issue with this bass is it's weight, (extrememly heavy) but I'll deal with it. Highly recommended.

Made in the USA baby!!!!!!!!!! Plays like a dream and no dead or live spots on any of the 24 perfectly finished frets. The most even sounding instrument I have ever heard. It has an 18 volt EMG preamp. The knobs are easy. Volume, notched blend, and stacked high-low boost. Two EMG active humbuckers that really pound. The bass just plays so nice. I have tripled my playing time, just because this thing is a real joy to play. It feels great, sits and hangs comfortably. I love the Spector bridges. They are recessed into the body. Very cool when setting intonation, which rarely needs to be done due to it's solid neck through construction.
This is my baby. It just plays absolutely perfect. I have no complaints in the playability department, other than the fact that it is heavier than hell.
I use this bass in a hard rock band. My rig is a Trace Elliot AH600SMX head powering a Trace 4x10 and a Trace 1x15. I also use various effects and a wireless. My entire rig is cabled with Monster Prolink Bass cables. So there's that. I swear up and down by the versatility of this bass. The 18 volt preamp is quiet and punchy and will do just about anything.
I am the second owner of this instrument. It was originally purchased from Spector by a good friend of mine. Neither of us have ever experienced any problems whatsoever.
