I looked at Hartke,Ibanez,Yamaha,Aria,Robelli. If it was lost or stolen I'd cry first and then go get another one just like the other one.Maybe real Fender pick ups might make it sound a little better and that would be awsome because I think it sounds as good as any real fender made in the states.Favorite thing is the price, worst thing I havn't figured out yet.So if your strapped for bucks and who isn't these days it's a high quality good sounding, rugged axe for the bucks. It wont let you down.

I can get just the action that I want which is slightly lower than standard. So far I'm really satisfied with the playability of the neck and compared to other high priced basses I'd use it in a heart beat because it's cheap in price but a great all round unit.
I've been playing through a Sunn TNT in the studio for rehearsal & a Peavey micro bass at home. to make it short the only thin that I noticed is it's a little noisey when your hands are off the srtings but as far as bottom, depth and clarity I find little diffrence between this and any Fender Precision I've ever played.I would use it anywhere.
I can't comment an this much since I have only been through one full year, only one adjustment.
