I once looked at Trace Elliot but they are too expensive. YES I would but this amp again but I would get the bottom speaker also. To have the second speaker. My favorite part is the EQ and the worst is getting it set. Hear it first with both cabs and then decide.

It has its own eight-band EQ. Yes it is powerfull enough for what I play. solid state electronic.
I use a Ibenz SR 400 bass. I play gospel and jazz with this amp and it fits great. The sound is nice and deep. With the EQ you control the highs which in most cases is the sounds that you try to prevent. I am not into distortion and it does not do it or I don't set it to do it.
No you can not edit or create patches. In the beginning to get the EQ set right. Once you get use to all the buttons, the EQ and the knobs and you can keep the kids away from it, it stays set.
Yes very steady for live play. I have only had it for 2 months so it has not needed any repairs yet. Seems to be very well constructed.
