The sound is good, as is the picture quality. This video has definetly improved my playing, both in my slap style and my tapping techniques. The tapping on this video has given me ideas of my own to use in my playing, aswell as the ones that are covered in this video. I think the slap section has a major flaw. Stu shows you some great licks, but he doesnt really explain how you develop original slap ideas and licks of your own. You can improvise and develop on the ones he shows, but he doesnt explain how to make original slap bass lines. I also find he rushes some of the stuff he shows, but thats what the pause button is for... This video is a great insight into some of Stus playing, the major aspect being his tapping ideas.

The sound quality is great but the video quality is just OK. This video has made me look at the bass in a new way. Somtimes I just watch the video for the amazing Stu Hamm solos. The only thing that could have made it better is the inclusion of tab and better video quality. My favorite aspect is the advanced techniques, my least favorite aspect is how fast he covers them. It is just a video though. I don't have Stu's other video but I plan on getting it after I master this one. The only other thing I have to say is, what are you waiting for get the video!!!
