Made in the USA. Currently just bought a new neck for it.. its a white Precision Bass.
The only flaws it has, is the dinks that were in it. The original neck i never played, the schecter replacement my dad put on when it was his, and i just bought a new neck for it. Mighty mite Jazz precision neck.
I have a 90-Watt Behringer Amp.
I play rock for fun and bands, etc. And Jazz for at my high school.
I can use it for live playing. The truss-rod is broken now, but i got one in the mail from e-bay :) coming as we speak. So when the new neck comes, viola.
I love this bass!!! If you like the P-bass sound with the feel of a Jazz (like I do), do yourself a favor and check this bass out. You won't be disappointed.

This is a Mexican made P-bass special with a split single coil Precision pickup at the neck and a Jazz pickup in the bridge, both passive. It also has a thin jazz neck with a rosewood fingerboard and satin finish. This is a very simple bass with one volume for each pickup and a master tone. Since there are many other basses that have more elaborate features (active pickups, electronics, etc.), the bass probably deserves a four star rating. But, I strongly believe simple is best, so I am giving it five stars.
When I got this bass, it was set up perfectly. The neck is straight neck with very low action and plays awesome, even better than some American models I have played.
Acousticly, this bass sounds awesome. Plugged in, I can get a warm p-bass sound with plenty of bottom or bring out the high end with the Jazz pickup, making it great for slap. The tone control is quite responsive too. I am currently playing this with an Ampeg B100R and also a Hartke Kickback 15.
I have had this for about a year and have had no problems at whatsoever. But then again, it is a Fender!!
I would definitely buy another one of these if mine were to be stolen. My only gripe is the gold pick guard. It looks good now, but i cannot believe that Fender thought that would be a good idea.

This bass was made in Mexico with a rosewood fingerboard and a stupid looking gold pick guard. I sanded the finish off of the pick guard and now it has a bice looking oxidized aluminum finish. Just a simple four stringer that gets the job done. No bells or whistles here, just a quality instrument that sounds as good as the player. What I like about it is the Jazz neck on the Precison body, this makes for a great playing instrument. I also own the cheaper Squier version of this bass and love it almost as much. I don't know if I would recommend buying one of these new, because for that you could have two Squier P-Bass Specials. However, I got this one used with a case and I am quite happy with my purchase. The pickups sound great and the noise is minimal considering the single coil Jazz p/u. Even at the price of $490, this is a great bass. It is reliable, playable and it sounds great. Also, upgrades are cheap and easy, as it is a standard bass.
I use a Nemesis NC-210p combo and the sound is great. I play rock and punk with this bass and it works very well.
Well... with a very pro sound and this kind of specs i find it great and flexible for almost all of musical types and tastes!!!

Its made on usa, on maple, with 20 frets and 4-string.
has 3 knobs 1 for volume and 2 for tone, 1 mini-switch for a single (and traditional) p-bass pickup (with active electronics, of course)
I feel it very, very comfortable but i find the scale a little bit extended and if i replace the strings every week (at least) i find the sound very similar to my taste
its very comfortable for thumb and snapinn'
Its very, very durable!!!
