This is my favorite Mingus album, and perhaps my favorite album EVER. Two days after hearing it, I bought my first bass. Thad Jones shines on this album, if you've never heard him play, you don't know what you're missing. Mingus's bass work superb. I really think Mingus is the best bass player i have ever heard. If any argues with me, I tell them to listen to this album.
