I was looking for a 4 string, and Saw this and bought it from 2 states away...it Has taken some adjustments to get the action perfect, but I am picky... I would be beyond p---ed if it was stolen... the bass better...um, paint it like stryper's guitars? Oh...Id swap out the pots for something with more resistance...they are to quick to move... But I love it...its so light...(Like two pounds lighter than the carvin...)
Model Year: 1986
Price: $250.00
Where Obtained: Fred's Music, PA
Features:
Japan, Flame Maple Neck, Rosewood fretboard, Body...My guess would be Alder due to weight...its painted Pearlesant White... 22 Fret, 4 string, Volume, Pickup Selector, and tone knobs...P and J pickups, Passive Call the shape a dinky P-bass...small, genorous cutaways... Tuners have been replaced by Carvin's. The originals had been damaged by the original owner...
Playability:
Action is now low, which rocks... Great attack, great tone for rock/funk/Metal
Sound Quality:
I use too much to list...but mainly a SWR super redhead, with a zoom 506... It is great...I love its personality, It is the oposite of my mellow Carvin LB75...it can do warm, but is much more agressive sounding then the carvin
Durability:
I imeadiatly put strap locks on it...other than the original tuners...no issues...everything is holding up!

I love it. Has that Jazz Bass sound. Check one out if you get the chance.
Price: $225.00
Where Obtained: Bass Palace
Features:
Very playable Japanese Bass. Maple neck, rosewood fretboard. Has master volume, pickup selector and tone control. Passive P&J pickups. It is Pearl White.
Playability:
Nice low action. Very narrow at the nut.
Sound Quality:
Play it through a Yorkville Bassmaster 15. Can get a great variety of tones. I like to crank it back on the bridge pick up, crank the tone down and turn the volume up. Pickups are quite, no buzz or hum.
Durability:
Haven't had it long enough to comment on reliability but it's already 20 yrs old and works real well.
