I looked at the Trace Elliot 65 Watt Boxer ,Peavy 35 W Minx It is affordable and has a nice sound. Built to high quality standards. A lot of features other amps did not have. Yes. Metal corner covers. It is versatile and Affordable quality. Maybe the speaker could be 15" , and a bit heavy .

Active and Passive input. Effects Loop.Solid State electronics. Onboard compressor.Mid sweep and Mid gain control knobs. Headphone socket. Treble and bass controls. Cd line/Aux in to connect external sound source. Volume control knobs. Capable of producing differnt sounds. Powerfull enough for small to medium gigs.
Sound Quality:
No effetcs at the moment. I play gospel and modern music. It can be used for most styles of music. Bass is very clear and powerfull. No noise that i have noticed so far. No distortion at high volumes.
Ease of Use:
Control knobs is in front and allows for ease fo use. Not allot of confusing buttons.
Durability:
Very durable metal grid in front of speaker. Solid plastic corner covers. Heavy duty construction.
