This is well thought out CD. The flow from one tune to the next gives this recording great warmth. To place this disc in any category would not do it justice. It spans many areas, and worthy of each one. Tony lets the songs do the talking, and doesn't fill the CD with bass, which is a relief among the many solo bass CDs on the market. Tony Levin is one of the most respected bassist out here today and this recording proves why.

Superb recording, both in regards to sonic value and contents. Its a bit dificult to get a hold of, but well worth it if one can. Musician, or not, one can enjoy this album.

I completely agree. Tony Levin is a bass talent second to none. Anyone can hear the complexity and musicality of his work.

Answer: A beautiful CD where he can declare his love for the bass and music without any need for flash or pyrotechnics. While playing mostly fretless 5 string and an EUB by Steinberger both pizzacato and arco, and joined by his friends and neighbers (what a great neighborhood) he creates a soundscape you could play as romantic background music or even when your parents come to visit. . Please take time to enjoy this fine CD by one of the worlds favorite bass players.
