Personnel Nathan East plays bass
Description Good Bass playing by Nathan East. Just solid and exactly what is required. I learn a great deal from studying his choice of notes and riffs. Recommended

I have been an Eric Clapton and B.B. King fan for years. This album has some exceptional interaction between two of this worlds greatest guitar legends. Clapton gets the chance to jam with B.B. King on 12 classic blues tunes. The master and the student doing what they do best. I enjoyed every song, however it lacked the passion I anticipated from such an album. The song selection ain't that great, and it seems like they're trying too hard. Nathan East once again does an outstanding job by holding it all together while these guitar legends exchange licks, staying in the pocket throughout most of the album. Stepping out only for a riff now and then, but otherwise laying it down in that extraordinary Nathan East solid-as-a-rock style.

A brilliant conbernation of two blues greats. Britlliant musicianship not only between Eric and B.B but some members of Eric's backing band and Doyle Bramball II. Highly recomendable to listen to outside on a sunny day or in the lounge at night when you want to relax.

This is to the high standard that we come to expect from Nathan East. He does not overplay. His playing is easily recognised and holds down the tracks well. He completes a very good rythmn section. Best track is Ridin' with the King ,BUT there are also some good classic reworks. Give it a listen. There is the bonus of EC & BB !
