Live Through This

by Hole

(1994) Geffen

Description Live Through This could be called the most ironic recording of the 90's. Kurt and Courtney's relationship is the main focus and as it was released days after his death, you may find the title says it all.

Well she cant sing and is famous for being infamous. A mediocre album at best. Rode on the crest of a wave that happened after Cobains death to come into the public eye as a musician.

It's a very strange album, though it's good. Kurt Cobain is all over it - I like it.

Musically, the album is ok. If they just didnt have Courtney Love 'trying' to sing, it would be better. Its ok to listen to if you dont have any other music at all in the house.

The bass line is great for beginners. Kristin Pfaff played with a lot of emotion. The lyrics are haunting and the music is wonderful, I listen to it non stop. Courtney's rough vocals make the album, as does the memories of Kurt Cobain behind it.
