I agree with the statement "decent album by decent band". i have argued many a time that blink182 has little talent, but still sounds very good, and this is why i enjoy them. recently, i have started to notice that they would be fine if they didnt have so much music that is quite repetitive. since this is a bass site, i will say that i HATE mark's basslines!!!!!!!! can't he be a little more creative. i realize some would excuse his lack of talent by saying he sings, and i know this is hard. i also sing in my band, and i can still manage with pretty difficult basslines. this seems to be a perfect example of a band with two memebers who decided they were good, but wouldn't be considered a band without a bassist, so they asked a friend (mark) to learn bass for the band, but he was a lazy bastard and didnt know anything about the purpose of bass, and wrote crap. also... all of their music is about love, but they are all like married or have steady girlfriends. whatever. the best description of this band i have found is watered-down punk/pop. ya... i'd say that fits. I wouldn't suggest buying much of their stuff, but if you NEED some, i would suggest Cheshire Cat (i am recommending this, as i have all their albums, and this is my favorite)
