This amp is a great practice or small gig church venue to use. This thing can really bring it for a combo amp.

Active/Passive switch. Pre-Gain Control, Contour and Bright swith to boost trebble for slapping. Microphone Jack. Low and High controls. 7-band EQ with switch. Post EQ EFX Loop controls. Speaker Protection switch to protect amp from bass pre amps. Head Phone Jack. This bass has everything you can ask for. The combo with power to gig in small club or churches, comes with a 7-band EQ which is cool. Only downfall is there is no CD player jack.
The sound quility is good with the horn and the fifteen you can really shake the walls of the house. Though this is really just a practice amp this thing can easily handle small gigs.
It takes time to figure out the controls and how they correspond with your bass and what sound you are looking for. But once you know and find it you are in good shape. This amp is better then most of its caliber becuase of the EQ system so you may sit down longer to find your sound but you have more options to tweak it the way you want it.
This thing is a tank. She ways around 90 pounds but shes been droped and she keeps truckin!
I chose this amp after playing a few friends. I think I would get this amp again if need be, but I think this one will last a long time. The amp is really heavy as everyone says, and wheels would be great. My favorite part of the amp is the customization. It has many options for being a combo amp. While not being one of the best amps out there, it definatley is a top contender in its class, now only if i had that black widow speaker...

Lots of EQ settings, my favorites being the bright and punch buttons. Features include High/Low Input, Pre- and Post Gain, low and high adjustment knobs, 9 channel EQ, low/high outs with crossover, built in chorus effect with adjustment knobs, pre amp in, power amp out, and a DDT limiter so that you can't blow it out. The amp contains a single 15 inch scorpion speaker and a small tweeter for highs. I play for christian fellowship at shippensburg university. Usually get about 200 people every week, the amp is a little small for the size and number of people but with a little help from the PA it sounds real solid.
I play pretty much every style of music and this amp is very versatile along with my style. I focus on playing funk and bluegrass(I know 2 different extremes), and the amp has many adjustments that compliment all styles very well. I only have ever owned a homemade amp, so in comparison this amp is great. I can't remember any of the other amps I have played through in the past, so I can't really fairly compare it. There is a small hiss when highs are turned up, but that is hard to avoid with anything. With the DDT limiter the sound doesn't get distorted.
This amp is pretty simple. Adjust the EQ abd turn the few knobs till it sounds like you want it to. I would say its pretty easy.
The amp is built like a tank. Mine is probably around 10 years old. I bought it used, store said they serviced it as standard procedure, but I am sure that means they didn't really do anything. No problems with it so far, it weighs about 95 pounds, so I have let it down pretty hard a few times. No damage yet.
This is very good amp, but it would be better if they made it a bit smaller. I'm not saying that it is very large but I have played on amps that were smaller than TNT but gave out the same or even better result.
After all, it is not very expensive and I gives good results for its prize.
But if I for example lost this amp I would not buy the same, because I would want something with louder output. (When you have a BMW, you want a Ferrari, When you have a Ferrari you want Space shutle,......)

Peavey TNT115 has:
- 7 band EQ + extra low and high knobs
- two inputs (low and high gain): I use only high gain and I'm not shure what is the purpose of low gain input.
- bright button: I use this feature a lot, because it gives brightnes to tone and is very good for slapping.
- punch button
- chorus effect: this effect gives you nice sound but I don't believe it is usefull very much
- send and return jacks
- seperated output (low and high): I don't know what is this seperated output good for. I always use "send" instead of two outputs.
- 1x15" Speaker
- DDT Compression: very usefull limiter, because with this you never get a distortioned sound
I believe it produces great and especcialy non-distorted sound at high volumes (thanks to the integrated limiter).
I play lot of different styles of music. With EQ you can get a very good sound.
But I think that it should have a bit more output. It is enough for a garage band or for monitor on stage but sometimes it would be nice if you could get more noise from it. Especcialy if you want to play in small concert where is no main speakers, but otherwise it is good. I once played on EDB amplifier and I could say that it had more output than my Peavey eventhough it is about 4 times smaller.
With EQ, "punch" and "bright" button you can easily get the sound you want. Even if you have old strings on your bass you can amplify the high tones and get a good sound.
Durability:

Until now I had no problems, but about a week before I was writing this review it has "broken" somehow. I haven't figured out yet what is wrong. From time to time when I am playing volume fades to third of normal and I get very distorted sound (like the speaker is broken). But then again after a while the sound becomes normal again. This is why I will give low rating for durability but otherwise, like I said until now this is my first problem with amplifier and I have it for about 4 years.
