I chose this one because it was a low price and it works fine for my needs.
Price: $200.00 canadian
Where Obtained: Long and Mquade
Basic Amp controls (low, mid, high, gain, presence). 2 channels, high and low gain, preamp out and power amp in. Loud enough for smallish gigs (250 people). Solid State.
Use it with a pbass for rock, works good. Tone is pretty decent with some tweaking and the black widow speaker is good quality. I've never had it past 5 and theres very little distortion on it at that point, just a little bit grungy like I want.
Easy amp to use. Nuff said
I've gigged it several times, good live. Very durable, heavy though but I put on castors :)Not gonna break anytime soon.
Overall Rating:

It Sucks
Price: $150.00
Where Obtained: Ebay.....some dude in Oregon
Features:

Well It has no features besides the basic pregain, postgain, bass, treble, and mid-range knobs....its got a high and low gain input....thats it
Sound Quality:

Well I haven't a clue whether it's the fact that its used or just a crap amp but....it can't handle hardly any really deep bass hits without maxin' out. but for practices its alright....
Ease of Use:

Well its about the least complex amp ive ever seen.....no difficult features there
Well its got one thing .....durability......my nephew has pushed it over more than once...and gotten kicked over quite a few times.....but its ok
