This album to me had a hurry up and get done feel, but still good!

This is a great album. Ozzy is in great form here, and Iommi cranks out the coolest riffs.

Master Of Reality is great for people how haven't been playing for long. Geezer Butlers rythmic bass line are a mix of simple riffs and sometimes complex or tricky solos are great for players to learn and grow on. Geezer uses a C# tuning on this album that gives it a heavy sound and great tone, especially on Into The Void, Sweet Leaf (something near and dear to many of our hearts), and Lord of This World. All in all 6 of Sabbath's greatist songs, counting the two instrumental intro tracks.

Great Sabbath record. I love the maturity in the lyric writing. The topics range from searching for spirtuality to saving the environment. The instrumentals are beautiful and powerful. Great bass work by Geezer, ripping drums by Bill Ward, awesome riffage by Iommi and hauntingly beautiful vocals by Ozzy make this an all together awesome Black Sabbath journey. Songs worthy of mentioning: After Forever, Children of the Grave and Lord of this World (still one of my fav Black Sabbath tunes)

This is one classic album. There's almost too much bass (which is never a bad thing). Every song has a point were Geezer does his trademark noodling (Into the Void being the best example, which sounds sort of like Electric Funeral midpoint). After Forever has the coolest and simplest grooves. It's quite easy to learn, as is the rest of this album, which makes it ideal for a beginner to transcribe.

Classic Ozzy lyrics (condescending yet strangely uplifting) paired with killer music, specifically extremely strong bass, and of course Tony Aiommi has killer riffs and solos. Short little instrumentals surprisingly make the album better, not boring. A little drab at times, but overall a quality recording.
