Well for other amps That i want are Acoustic corps but i'v had no luck getting one and peaveys iv used for about 18 years and you cant beat the price for the power you get.
The only thing that could make this amp better would be more life in the tone, peaveys are always bland sounding
Model Year: 2000
Price: $280.00
Where Obtained: ebay
Pure solid state 600 watt at 2 ohms with 9 band eq and low and high shelving. Effects loop, compression, chorus, Cross over low high and high chorus out. Balanced out, Pre-amp out- Power amp in.
Basses I play through it are an Ibanez Series X Destroyer(Fully active emg) and a BC Rich mocking bird(Fully passive).Effects Boss odb3, Tokia metal driver, Small stone phase shifter and a boss noise gate.
For styles of music I play REAL HEAVY METAL. Its loud enough but too clean for me and the peavey tvx 4x10 starts to clip at high volumes. This amp is noisey when you start to push up the high end.
Semi easy to use. 9 band eq and shelving controls make it a bit of work for your tone. I still havent got the sound i want but running the eq fairly flat gives me a sound i like.
Its a peavey, built to last forever+.
