Overall Rating:
Overall, I rate the cabinet very good. The best thing is the tone and wall of sound, the worst is the size and weight. It is probably not what I would have purchased if I had a wallet full of money, but the price was right and it was available when I was in the market.
Model Year: 1998
Price: $300.00
Where Obtained: Private Party
Features:
8, 10" speakers with horn loaded tweeter, frequency response 25 Hz-15kHz. Handles 400 W continuous up to 800 W transients. 4 ohm impedance. Crossover @ 3.5 kHz. 49" tall, 24" wide, 18" deep. Weighs a ton! (148 lbs).
Sound Quality:
I use no effects with this cabinet. Play primarily blues and classic rock. Would probably be just fine for a slapper, but I don't slap. The best sounding box I've played thru with the exception of an SWR Super Redhead and/or a Carvin 4x10 and 1x18 stack.
Ease of Use:
It's tough to haul around and/or gig with
Durability:
It was dropped about 1 foot when lowering off a semi flatbed after a gig and it never missed a beat and you could hardly see any damage to the box. Seems durable to me.
