I bought this amp solely to have a small inexpensive practice amp that I could keep at home since my rig was usually at a venue or rehearsal facility. There are so many better quality small practice amps out now I would probably look at others if I were in the market for this type of amp again. Overall the amp has served its purpose and is still doing so today. So I can't complain.

This particular amp is a Bass Sidekick 30.
Solid state, 12" Fender driver (prob. Eminence)
Volume/Master/Treble/Mids/Bass/Presence
Effects loop, Recording out (RCA), Phones out.
30 watts, suitable for home practice. I've used it infrequently for low volume band rehearsals.
I use mainly as a practice amp as it is not powerful nor versatile enough for many other duties. It actually has a decent sound for a small low watt amp. You have to really adjust the e.q. to get a good tone out of it. I use my Blue Tube into it to add some grind and liven up the tone. It has a fairly clean sound at moderate levels. If you drive it to distortion it gets ugly.
Very basic amp and pretty easy to get a decent tone out of it for practicing.
I have never had to have any servicing done to it. I would not use it for any sort of gig. The low power and generally lackluster tone would not allow for it. It has good medium duty construction. Black face and Tolex with silver grill cloth.
