I know the "not as low" frequency response scared me but this thing is low enough for my needs and I think it handles the lows really well. I run this thing with my Carvin R1000 (check my other review on it) and since this is my "1st" Carvin rig I am very satisfied with it. It was money well spent!
Price: $399.00 (new)
Where Obtained: Carvin-factory direct
Features:
I give it a 4 just b/c I really don't care for the attenuation switches and wish Carvin still had the horn pad for these cabs, I think that'd give you more control on the horn level but the switches do all right. But anyways, this cab accepts either twist-lok (or speakon) and 1/4" cables. It's an 8ohm cab that handles 600 watts. Frequency response is 60Hz to 16kHz. Dimensions: 23.5W x 18.25D x 25.5H and Weighs 72 lbs. You can get the cab with optional casters and an optional cover.
Sound Quality:
Excellent punch and bass response (even though the frequency response is not as deep as other 4x10 cabs twice the price).
Ease of Use:
Durability:
Definitely seems sturdy and well constructed.
