Overall Rating:
Looked ta hundreds. This is bass number three in my arsenal. This one is all about the tone.
Model Year: 1983
Price: $300.00
Where Obtained: Bass Palace
Features:
Made in Fullerton California in the old Fender factory. Alder body, Maple neck and fretboard. Twenty two frets. A pickup selector a volume and a tone knob. I don't like a lot of buttons, switches and dials. Two G&L humbuckers. This bass is gloss black with a slim jazz style body.
Playability:
Just getting used to the action. Not as easy to play as my Yamaha.
Sound Quality:
Straight thru, zero effects. Super low bottom and it just barks. I love the tone and sustain.
Durability:
Twenty years old. Works good. I guess its reliable.
